Privacy Policy

Little Light: Great Day ("the App", "we", "us") is a personal journaling app that helps you record small, positive daily moments. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is stored, and the choices you have. We built the App to keep your data on your own device wherever possible.

1. Information We Collect

The App is designed to work without requiring you to create an account. The information below is collected only to make the App function.

• Moments you create — the note text, category, and optional photo you attach to each "little light" you save, along with the date/time it was created and last updated.
• Photo Library access — if you choose to attach a photo to a moment, the App asks for permission to access your photo library so you can pick an image. The App only accesses photos you explicitly select.
• App usage state — how many moments you've saved, which days you've used the App, and your village progression level, so the App can show your growth over time and enforce the free-tier daily limit.
• Subscription status — whether you have an active Premium subscription, obtained from Apple App Store / Google Play and our subscription provider, RevenueCat, so the App can unlock Premium features on your account.

2. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your moments, photos, and progression data are stored locally on your device only. We do not operate a server that stores your journal content, and we do not have access to read it. Uninstalling the App, or clearing its data, permanently deletes this information from your device.

3. Subscriptions and Payment Data

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details. To manage entitlements (i.e., to know whether you've purchased Premium), the App uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous device/subscriber identifier and your purchase/subscription status to keep your Premium access working correctly, including across reinstalls when you restore purchases. 4. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not show third-party advertising or use advertising trackers.
• We do not require an account, email, or phone number to use the App.
• We do not upload your photos or journal notes to any server we control.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Your Choices

• You can deny or revoke photo library access at any time in your device Settings; the App will simply be unable to attach photos to moments.
• You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its storage from your device settings.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google account subscription settings.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
